We are delighted that we collaborate with the Derbyshire & Staffordshire Police forces who provide Driver & Motor Cycle training before going on the public highway. Derbyshire Police also use the area as a training ground for their Police Dogs.
Scouts use the track for their Scout Carting activities and their Cycle Proficiency badge testing.
Each year the Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators hold their “Crash Day” at Darley Moor Centre, when accident investigators from all over Britain and Europe meet together to discuss the latest in accident investigation. This is attended by Senior Police Officers, Senior Firemen and Coroners and their Officers. Darley Moor Centre is pleased to host this event.
The local Scouts & Guides also use the grassland for camping. A couple of local schools use the venue for nature walks and bird spotting exercises. If nature walks are your thing, why not join them?
