Community Projects

Local Scouts use the track for their Scout Carting activities and their Cycle Proficiency badge testing.
The local Scouts & Guides also use the grassland for camping. A couple of local schools use the venue for nature walks and bird spotting exercises. If nature walks are your thing, why not join them?

The Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators hold their “Crash Day” at Darley Moor Centre, when accident investigators from all over Britain and Europe meet together to discuss the latest in accident investigation. This is attended by Senior Police Officers, Senior Firemen and Coroners and their Officers. Darley Moor Centre is pleased to host this event.  

ROSPA Derby & Derbyshire use the track for some of their motorcycle training days because it gives them a safe friendly environment for their trainees.

Several of the local cycling clubs and cycle race teams come to Darley Moor Centre for regular evening training sessions during the late spring, summer and early autumn, there is still room for your Club to join them.
