It is not all about Motor Cycle Road Racing.
Darley Moor Sports Centre, south of Ashbourne in the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District, has been the home of the Darley Moor Motor Cycle Road Race Club since 1964. Formally a WW2 RAF base, the 1.5 mile tarmac circuit runs regular club race meetings and the famous Stars at Darley event every year. ‘Darley’ is firmly established as a favourite amongst motorcycle racing enthusiasts and competitors.
And Darley Moor isn’t just about racing…
Darley Moor Centre is the perfect venue for training, testing and a host of other competitive events. The circuit runs its own regular track days and track training days and is visited throughout the year for car and motorcycle training by Government Bodies, MoD and Police Forces. And its not just about engines; cycling races, running races and biathlons and dog agility trials also bring the venue to life throughout the year. With its onsite café and purpose built training room, Darley Moor is now as much about training is as it is about racing.
